Your Path to Peace of Mind
A 3-month process to improve your safety and wellbeing, ensure your wishes are respected, and set you on a
path of aging well with self-determination and dignity.
Welcome!
You are probably here because you, or someone who cares about you, is worried about your future. Maybe you don’t have support nearby; or you have family and friends near, but you don’t want them to worry about you. You may be asking yourself: “can I stay in my home as I age or my illness progresses?” or “what will happen if I need someone to take care of me?”. You want to make a plan, but you are overwhelmed!
My heartfelt wish is that you THRIVE as you age!
You worked hard to get to this point in your life and deserve to spend your time doing things that are meaningful to you: quality time with your friends, kids, and grandkids; travel, pets, hobbies, and volunteer activities. As you slow down and need help, you deserve to be treated with kindness and dignity. And, when it’s time to let go, you deserve to be comfortable and supported in the ways that you want.
Unfortunately, this rarely happens without a solid plan and support!
There are huge costs to NOT planning, including:
-
An injury, medication errors, missed Dr appts, missed diagnoses or procedures, etc
-
Cost of elder care is astronomical. The cost of the wrong elder care is an astronomical waste of money, time, and possibly increased disability
-
None, or incorrect, documents resulting in getting medical treatment that you don’t want
-
You become a burden to your family
Your Path to Peace of Mind is designed to help you move beyond worrying about your future, to creating a plan for aging with dignity and self-determination.
Last, but certainly not least, Your Path to Peace of Mind includes access to 24/7 Peace of Mind Care Management services at a discounted rate!
...if you have a medical emergency, we will meet you at the ER and advocate for you. If your caregiver didn’t show up…we will find out what happened, find another caregiver, and/or be with you until a caregiver arrives. If your medication didn’t arrive…we will make the calls and pick it up, if needed. You get the picture…we will have your back night and day!

I look forward to helping you feel more confident and peaceful in your aging journey!
Warmly,
Lisa Carle, OTR/L

Testimonials:

“What would I ever have done without Lisa? As my family member declined in health, it was increasingly difficult to assist him long distance. Lisa immediately became his trusted advocate and someone I could depend on. She predicted the many challenges he would face and stepped in to minimize them. Together we searched for answers, weighed our options, and acted in his best interest. Her broad range of skills allowed her to oversee every facet of his care and daily living needs. Lisa’s gentle nature belies a wealth of compassion, strength, and endurance. Her optimism continually reassured me that we would get through this together and that I was not alone. The sense of relief I have had throughout this time is immeasurable.”

“I want to express our heartfelt thanks for all that you have done to help my mom and us over the last 2 years. She felt so comfortable and really trusted you - she said to me what a good person you were and how lucky we were to find you many, many times. You have been so supportive and a source of information and counsel. You have a great deal of medical knowledge, but I also the love your intellectual curiosity to research topics with which you weren’t familiar. I always knew that my mom was in good hands in your care. Lastly, you were such a support and sounding board during the last two months with my mother - even moreso in her last 10 days. I really don’t know how I could have done it without you and your kindness. You are a truly talented lady and I’d recommend you to anyone.”

"Words cannot express my gratitude for all your advocacy, kindness, and concern these last 3 years. From working with the dynamics of our family, to being willing to handle his finances until the conservatorship was in place, to then taking on his health care manager, to working with the conservator regarding his ongoing needs, working to get his long term care policy in place, to dealing with his sometimes combative and profane reactions, you have gone above and beyond. And, of course, the greatest testament was when he reached out to you for help in making his end-of-life decisions.”
